Andrea Joy Cook
A.J. Cook is a Canadian actress who is best recognized for her performances in feature films The Virgin Suicides (1999) and Final Destination 2 (2003) as well as for her character as Jennifer "JJ" Jareau in the tv drama series Criminal Minds. Cook's TV credits includes Dead Like Me and Tru Calling. Other television shows include Goosebumps, Elvis Meets Nixon, In His Father's Shoes Laserhawk Island Heat, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, Higher Ground, Bluemoon, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, PSI Factor. She has appeared in the feature films Blood Suckers, Final Destination II, The House Next Door, Out Cold, Ripper, The Virgin Suicides, Kisses and The Tinker. Cook was raised in Whitby by her father Mike who works as the school's teacher, as well as her mother Sandra who is a psychiatrist. She grew up with three siblings: Angela, Nathan and Paul. She is a Mormon and a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. When she was a small girl, she was a ballet, jazz and tap dance. It was only when she turned 17 that she got into acting. She had competed in numerous dance contests. Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze became her motivation to becoming an actor. Cook tied the knot with her partner Nathan Andersen in August 2001. She first met Nathan Andersen at Utah Valley University in Utah Valley University, where she studied an acting class. The couple has a son. Mekhai Allan Andersen was born 13 September 2008. She lives in Los Angeles
